Fanatic Anime and Your Lie in April - Towa Hall. ELVONDA

At the end of the first episode of Your Lie in April we see a building called Towa Hall. This building is the Nerima Culture Center which is located just north of Nerima Station in real life.

At the back of the building is this small park area.

Kousei waiting in the park.

Image from Episode 1 - 14m38s

No shoes or leggings here in real life of course.

Image from Episode 1 - 14m43s

Reverse angle. None of the houses in the background seems to match.

Image from Episode 1 - 14m53s

This tree isn't a cherry tree in real life.

Image from Episode 1 - 15m06s

There are some cherry trees here though, like these ones.

Image from Episode 1 - 15m11s

Kousei sees Kaori for the first time.

Image from Episode 1 - 15m39s

There's a light pole here and not a children's playground in real life.

Image from Episode 1 - 16m20s

A lot less cherry trees.

Image from Episode 1 - 18m50s

Tsubaki shows up.

Image from Episode 1 - 19m26s

Watari as well.

Image from Episode 1 - 19m43s

For some reason the actual cherry trees here are depicted as other trees in the anime.

Image from Episode 1 - 20m08s

The sitting places in the background aren't as colourful in real life.

Image from Episode 1 - 20m14s

The front of the building.

Image from Episode 1 - 20m17s

Says Nerima Culture Center instead of Towa Hall of course.

Image from Episode 1 - 21m16s

Kaori dragging Kousei along at the end of the first episode.

Image from Episode 2 - 00m25s

Towa Hall at the beginning of the second episode.

Image from Episode 2 - 00m28s

Tsubaki and Watari running towards the entrance.

Image from Episode 2 - 02m07s

I had a quick look inside the building and the clocks were the same as in the show.

They also had this Your Lie in April decorated ice cream vending machine inside.

Image from Episode 2 - 05m55s

Full view of the building from some nearby stairs.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m29s

The building in the background is further away from the stairs in real life.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m31s

The path between the stairs and the building.

Image from Episode 4 - 03m40s

Closer look at the building entrance.

And finally a reverse shot towards the stairs.

Fanatic Anime and Your Lie in April - Roadside. ELVONDA

In the opening scene of Your Lie in April we see Kaori walking down a street that is close to Oizumi-gakuen Station in real life, so I went and had a look.

Image from Episode 1 - 00m09s

The street from the opening scene.

Image from Episode 1 - 00m18s

This side street doesn't match in real life. I've marked the path from Oizumi-gakuen Station to the building to the left in the map below though.

On the way here you'll also go past this place shown in a later episode.

Image from Episode 15 - 13m48s

Wider view.

Image from Episode 15 - 13m52s

This shop is called Smile Hair in real life.

Image from Episode 15 - 14m01s

Kousei stops in front of this bakery.

Image from Episode 15 - 17m30s

Where he also goes back later to buy canels.

Image from Episode 20 - 15m30s

In episode 20 when Kaori calls Kousei, he stands in front of Oizumi Junior High School.

Image from Episode 20 - 16m10s

This school is right next to the street from the opening scene of the show.

Image from Episode 20 - 16m10s

Matching street signs to the left in this picture.

Image from Episode 22 - 11m08s

The street from the opening scene is also seen in the last episode.

Image from Episode 22 - 11m25s

Slightly closer look.

In Oizumi-gakuen Station I also saw this Your Lie in April themed vending machine.
